Ask The Editors: Mystery Switch
That is an older Shineray switch – likely the ones used on most of their ATVs regardless of displacement.
See when it comes to Chinese and off-brand ATVs, parts aren’t spec’ed and cataloged as if they were being manufactured by one of the Japanese, American, Canadian or Korean brands. Instead they spec whatever they happen to have on hand. Often, as a result, items that were designed for their on-road scooters or e-Bikes (like horns and turn signal toggles that lead to nothing) end up on their off-road machines.
We couldn’t find the exact match for that switch because in addition to looking like 4-functions, it appears to have a choke lever on the bottom.
This is Shineray’s newer version of the switch in question here. As you can see, it lacks the choke functionality.
We found an even more similar switch with choke, functionality and similar connectors here.
What you’re probably going to have to do is order one with the same connectors as those on your ATV and do a little wire swapping to match colors in the harness of whatever switch you purchase.
