Suzuki LT230GE Service Manual Help
Need help, not more problems.

Dear ATVC: Before I go chancing buying one online, has anyone had any luck with any certain sites? I just picked up a 1985 Suzuki Quadrunner 230ge and want to get it back to good shape. Where can I get a legit service manual?

Yours is a difficult question because while there are legitimate digital service manual sites like eManualOnline, you are going to be hard pressed to find the one you’re actually looking for. The LT230 line was large and around for a long time, the majority of production centering on the popular “Quadsport” 230 variant or the 1987-1998 4wd versions.

We were able to track down the 1985 – 1990 Suzuki LT230 / LT250 Service & Repair Manual here, but fear it still may be a bit more universal than what you seek.

The safest bet would be to probably turn to eBay and grab yourself a used physical copy of the Suzuki OEM 1985 LT230GE Service Manual (part # 99500-42020-01E). This is the absolute best source of information available on your specific make and model.

They vary in price, of course, but we were able to locate a copy here for $26.99 – less than it would cost you to download the digital file.

Also note – Suzuki did eventually release a supplemental service manual for your machine as well. Though not absolutely necessary, as the primary service manual is quite thorough, should it prove to lack something specific you intend on servicing, there are copies of the supplemental out there as well – like this example on eBay for $14.93 / free shipping.

The official part number for the supplemental service manual is as follows: 99501-42010-01E
