Ask the Editors: Tracking Down Honda’s Daytona Orange
Hard to come by color.
Dear ATVC: Hi. I have a 1974 Honda ATC90 and need the ral color code of the Daytona orange paint.
A simple question with a bit of a complicated answer. Honda used the original code BB to identify the Daytona Orange paint. Specialty paint distributors like this one carry the OEM color but it isn’t cheap. To the tune of 8oz coming in at $69.95
Marbles Motors offers it for slightly less- we found a listing for it on eBay for $40 + $12.80 shipping.
