BRP, the group behind Can-Am, has a lot to celebrate in reviewing their second quarter fiscal results. They’re reporting a whopping 16% increase in North American retail sales.

“We outpaced the North American powersports industry with 16% growth in retail this quarter. Our Side-by-Side vehicle retail growth continued to be robust and with the great summer we’ve had”, said José Boisjoli, president and CEO.

With this comes revenues of $1,207.0 million, an increase of $183.9 million or 18.0%.

Bonus Fact: BRP knows that diversity is what it takes to continue growing and they aren’t afraid to invest serious coin to jeep their portfolio growing. For example on August 28, they acquired of 100% of Triton Industries Inc. for a purchase consideration of U.S. $78.5 million ($101.4 million Canadian).
