The thing with this week’s Youtube clip is that we can almost relate to the logic here: You got your ATV way out to the middle of the frozen lake, you’re in your green coveralls, your buddy has his new camera pointed at you… prime donut territory! The trouble here is simple physics.
You may remember centrifugal force (from the Latin centrum, meaning “center”, and fugere, meaning “to flee”)- it’s the apparent outward force that draws a rotating body away from the center of rotation caused by the inertia of said body. Not to worry if you’re hazy on these high school lessons, the star of this clip demonstrates better than any science book!
