GNCC Round 4 2025: Camp Coker Bullet ATV Race Coverage
Warm conditions in South Carolina for Round 4.

The 2025 Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC Racing) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, returned to racing after two-week break with the FMF Camp Coker Bullet in Society Hill, South Carolina. The event takes place at Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve and this weekend the series was greeted with much warmer and dryer conditions throughout the venue.

When the green flag flew, it was Merritt Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC’s Joshua Merritt jumping out to grab the $250 XC1 Holeshot Award. Merritt would lead the first lap of the race, but Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Brycen Neal was lingering behind him waiting to make the pass. Neal would find his way by Merritt on lap two and continued to push himself all the way until the checkered flag flew. Neal would cross the line with over a minute lead on the rest of his competition.

Phoenix Racing Yamaha/Action Off-Road/Pierce Performance’s John Glauda Jr. would get a good jump off the line as he battled at the front of the pack for the duration of the race. Glauda came through third on the opening lap, and would make the move into second shortly after, holding that second place spot all the way to the finish.

Rounding out the top three finishers was, WFR/Kenda/Fly Racing/ BNR Motorsport’s Walker Fowler. After getting a bad start and coming through timing and scoring in the ninth place position on lap one, Fowler would have his work cut out for him to get back towards the front. Fowler continued to push each lap and would make a last lap pass to overtake third as he crossed the finish line.

HHR/Fly Racing/QuadTech’s Hunter Hart put in a good ride after he worked his way up to third as the white flag flew, however he would be unable to hold off Fowler, and he would cross the line fourth overall on the day. BNR Motorsports/Fearless/Kenda Tire’s Steven Harrell continued to have a consistent race as he battled within the top five for the majority of the race. Harrell would come through to finish fifth overall on the day.

Coming through to take sixth overall on the day was Stewart Boys Racing/GBC/Pierce Performance’s Wyatt Wilkin. As he started his day back in eighth, Wilkin would continue to push himself forward, making a last lap effort to take over the sixth place position. In the seventh place position, Action Off-Road/Kenda/Custom Axis’ Jay Shadron would come through after having a pretty steady race day.

After running in the lead on the opening lap, Merritt would fall back to fifth before eventually finishing eighth overall on the day. OBOR/Moose Racing/Parts Unlimited/Lonestar’s Adam McGill had a fifth place start to his day, but by the end of the race would find himself crossing the line ninth overall on the day. JMR/GBC/Elka/Moose Racing’s Jarrod McClure rounded out the top 10 overall finishers from the 2025 FMF Camp Coker Bullet GNCC.

After grabbing the early lead, CST Tires/LMR Motors/Elka/Fly Racing’s Braxton Grosse would not look back. Grosse continued to lead the way for the duration of the race, pushing himself to cross the line first with over a two minute lead on the rest of his competition. BNR Motorsports/Maxxis/PowerMadd’s Jeremiah Wolf worked his way up to finish second in the XC2 after coming through fourth on the opening lap. Action Off-Road/Pierce Performance’s James Glauda pushed his way through the pack as he came through seventh on the opening lap, to finish third in the XC2 class, rounding out the podium. BNR Motorsports/GBC/FXR’s Kenny Shick would earn the $100 BNR Motorsports XC2 Holeshot Award.

The top three overall morning race finishers would consist of Kenda/KMK Off-Road/Ryco Electric’s Cody Collier battling back to win the overall as well as the 4×4 Pro class win. Second overall would go to Bryce Pullen, who also earned the 250 All-Star (14-17) class win. Then third overall would be earned by Osburn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing’s Chloe Harper, who came through to take the WXC class win after a hard-fought battle.

As the 4×4 Pro class took off it was KMK Off-Road/OBOR/FXR’s Kaden Wharff jumping out to grab the $100 BNR Motorsports 4×4 Pro Holeshot Award. It wouldn’t take long before Collier moved into the lead, but he would continue to feel the pressure from Pro Row 784/TMS/Edgewood/DeRisi’s Brandon Frazier. As the group came towards the finish line on lap two it would be Frazier leading Collier, however Frazier would fall back to eighth on the third lap, while Collier took over the lead position.

Collier would come through to take the win, his third of the season. Wharff would continue to battle through the duration of the race, making a last lap pass to put him into second in the 4×4 Pro class. Moose Racing/Full Throttle Heating & Cooling/Kenda Tire’s Gavin Jenkins rounded out the top three 4×4 Pro class finishers after running inside the top five throughout the entire two-hour race.

When the WXC class took off it was JMR/Action Off-Road/GBC/Moose Racing’s Katelyn Osburn grabbing the $100 BNR Motorsports WXC Holeshot Award. However, it wouldn’t take the WXC Rookie, BNR/Kenda/Lonestar’s Avery Collins long to make her way into the lead position. Collins would hold that spot for the first three laps of the race, but when the white flag came out indicating one more lap to go, she would have some company behind her.

Harper would make the pass stick for the lead, earning her second win of the season, as Collins held on to earn second in the WXC class, her first WXC podium. Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tire’s Jessica Elioff would have a consistent race as she managed to hold onto the third place position in the WXC class from start to finish.
