Holz Racing Products Find Podium in Utah
The World Off Road Championship series made its way to Sand Hollow in Hurricane, Utah for Rd. 5 of the 2015 series. Sand Hollow provides one of the most picturesque backdrops of the year combining bright sands with blue water and stunning rock formations. It’s definitely not your run of the mill off-road race track!
Team Holz Racing Products came out in force for Rd. 5 with no less than 14 drivers competing in various classes throughout the weekend. In the SxS Pro class RJ Anderson Battled for the lead for much of the race but would settle for a 6th place finish after getting a flat tire. Beau Baron had a slow start, citing a lack of familiarity with the dunes, but would get in the groove and fight all the way up to 2nd place.
In the SXS Pro Stock class Collins Webster kept up a great pace to land in the #3 podium spot along with Josh Frederick in 6th, Ronnie Anderson in 7th and Ryan Holz in 10th. Mike Gardner had an excellent showing in the Production 1000 class taking home another win and extending his points lead. Brian Cernius pulling double duty would go from taking 5th in Production 1000 to taking 3rd in Production 1000 Stock.
Shelby Anderson also had an extremely successful round landing herself on the top step of the production 900 podium and further extending her season points lead.
