UTV World Championship Registration
The Super Bowl of UTV racing returns to Lake Havasu City, AZ Oct. 13th-17th.
– Registration opens Friday, May 28th @ Noon PST and will determine start and qualifying order
– New payment plan option allows racers to reserve their spots with a 25% deposit
– Purse structure announced for adult pro classes
The UTV World Championship announced today that race registration for the 2021 UTV World Championship presented by Polaris RZR will open this Friday, May 28th @ Noon PST. The order in which racers register, will determine their qualifying & race day starting position. Every entry will be time stamped and made public on the initial entry list. There will be NO random draw in 2021 or in the foreseeable future.
The UTV World Championship has once again named Off-Road Racer the official race registration portal for this event (and the 2021 Mint 400). Racers who created profiles previously in 2020 will simply need to login and check if any updates are needed to their profile. New users should head over to Off-Road Racer now, and create a profile ahead of time. More details regarding the registration process can be found here.
On Friday May 28th at noon, pacific standard time, racers will simply login, select their class, enter their race number, add their co-drivers and successfully reserve their starting/qualifying position at the UTV World Championship. The order in which racers register for their class will determine their starting position, and/or qualifying start position, rather than by random draw.
New this year, racers will have the option to either pay the registration fee in full up front, or pay 25% down, 25% on August 6th, and the final 50% balance on September 17th. The process is completely automated, and gives budget conscious racers the time to secure a good starting position without coming completely out of pocket upfront.
“If you raced the UTV World Championship or Mint 400 in 2020, you know just how streamlined the new process is,” commented UTV World Championship Event Director, Kilian Hamlin. “What’s great is racers have complete control of their entries. The information on your Off-Road Racer Profile is tied to any future race entry. Now, there’s no need to enter the same information over and over (and over) again or get all of your teammates information from them ahead of time – all their information required to race is pulled from their Off-Road Racer Profile as well – and will be automatically tied to your team’s entry. This also makes any changes to your race entry a snap. You can log on anytime and update your information.”
The UTV World Championship also announced that this year, 15% of all Pro Class entry fees will go towards prize purses for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place podiums. This earmarks tens of thousands of dollars for Pro Class winners. Youth Racers will once again be competing for non-cash prizes, and the UTV World Championship is actively working to secure additional class sponsorships for all classes.
