Kazuma RFX-150 won't start!
#1
We bought two RFX-150's from John at Raceway at Christmas. Haven't had time to ride them, just start 'em and let them come up to temp then shut them down again.
It snowed here yesterday, and I got them both out to see how they would handle the white stuff. Everything went great with the Red one, but the Blue one ran about two minutes and then it died, and wouldn't refire at all. It cranks and cranks, but not even a hint of trying to fire up again.
It has plenty of fuel, in fact, the gas was coming out the carb overflow while I tried to restart it. I pulled the plug, and it doesn't look like I'm getting any spark.
I checked every electrical connection I could find - everything is plugged in tight. What could the problem be?
Is the CDI toast? Could the Ignition Coil be dead?
Any help would be much appreciated - I'll call Raceway on Monday and check with them - but I was hoping you guys could give me some help!!

SPLASHNCRASH:
The best thing to do is call me Monday and we can go over a few things. Might be the CDI box! I you bought two units from us why don't you try switching the CDI box from the unit that is running fine and see if that does it!!

John,
I went out today to try the CDI swap. Before I did anything though, I just tried to start it. All I got was the Relay giving a "click" everytime I hit the starter button.
Didn't even turn over - not even a little bit. Yesterday it would crank over, but just wouldn't fire.
Sounded like a low battery, so I put my charger on it, and still the same "click" "click" from the relay.
Just for kicks, I swapped the CDI anyway. Nothing, just "click" "click" from the relay.
I opened up the airbox, and gas poured out of it! Got that all dried out and cleaned up, but it still won't even turn over.
I know this can't be from riding it hard - we haven't even taken them out yet. I just started it in the driveway a couple of times.

Thanks Dave!
You were right - the cylinder was full of fuel. Pulled the plug, turned it over, and whosh the fuel shot out!
Got it fired up again last night about 9:30pm (sorry neighbors!). It wasn't electrical at all, turns out it was just flooded the whole time.
I was able to get a spark by grounding the plug hard against the footpeg bracket, and in the dark it was easy to see the spark was ok!
Got it to start, but it was running really rich - I cranked the mixture screw all the way shut, then backed it out about 1/2 turn. It was still running rough, so I rode it around in circles for about 10 minutes, and it finally smoothed out again.
And Thanks to John at Raceway - called him this morning and he was very helpful. He also said if you load the quad into a truck, shut the fuel off before you do that. If you stand the bike up, sometimes the float can get stuck, and it will flood the bike when you start it.
That's good advice, and I'll make sure I shut the fuel off after riding each time.
