Totally new to the group and ATV's
This may be a dumb question, but when referring to the pilot jet, there are small holes that go through the side of it, I believe there are three all together. They are all clear. Should there be a hole that goes through the pilot jet lengthwise?
Also, I don't believe the throttle attachment was ever secured to the top of the carbuetor properly.
Please advise,
Steve

I can't seem to get that hole cleared on the pilot jet that goes through its length. I've tried boiling it in hot water, carb cleaner (by gumout) and MEK. I've tried shoving avionics wire through it and it won't give. Is it time to replace? If so, where do most people go for parts like this for a Kazuma? Please advise.

Steve

PZ19 Carburetor Repair Kit
Hi,
Well do to the extended heat wave here this summer, I went out and purchased a carburetor repair kit for this PZ19 carb. Just yesterday, I finally took a day off to give this thing some attention... The kit came with a new air/fuel mixture screw (flathead) should I be able to replace that screw? I tried backing it out of the carburetor with a regular slotted screwdriver, however, it seemed very tight, so I left it in there and did not replace it.
Please advise,
Steve

You have a factory 19mm carb. If the jets clogged then the float needle/valve will soon act up too. It is much easier to replace these carbs with a slightly larger carb and remove the air box and use a uni-filter.
I will send you a PM with links to help you....
A slightly larger carb and uni-filter air cleaner will offer more performance also.
