Default Loose ball joint studs..

Have you guys noticed that you wind-up having to tighten the castle nuts on the ball-joints to the point the cotter pin no longer meshes into the slots on the nut? Our Taotao 110 was getting a bit rattly after only about 3-5hrs use, so I figured I better give it another once over. Basically ALL 8 of the BJ studs were loose. I removed, blue loctited and snugged them all good. Now the nuts are threaded down to the point the cotter pins will basically just keep the nuts from falling off. Oh, and the left upper control arm bushing is already sloppy. The other 3 so far so good. Here's a pic when it was brand-new:

You can use washers as a spacer for them. Overtime they need to be replaced.
As long as the travel in and out isn't too far it should be fine.

Thanks. Yeah, the joints themselves are nice and tight, plus you can pop the boots off the sealing lip to rub some grease in there if you wish. I thought about adding some washers, but then thought it would defeat the purpose of the lock-washers under the nuts.
