Hello, I have a 50cc china quad we bought for my son recently. When we got it there was no cdi, starter relay and butchered wiring harness which has all been replaced now and after cleaning the carb I got it running. The issue is an oil leak on the left side at the bottom between the shifter and sprocket. I am not overly familiar with these engines and I'm not sure if its missing a plug or if there is something else there that may be a common leaking problem. As your cranking the engine it will shoot out in spurts and then turn to a lesser spray as its running. Ill try to get some pics up tomorrow of where its leaking. Any advice on this issue is greatly appreciated!!

 

Nevermind I feel like an idiot! There was supposed to be another bolt in the lower part of the stator housing but I couldn't see it until I cleaned it up.
