Default Water cooled quad overheating

Hi Guys,
My Bashan 200cc ATV water cooled quad, with CG200 engine, overheats.Fan not working, but cannot find temp switch to turn fan on.
Any one know where to look for this switch?
I have tested fan by jumper wires,it works. This quad is ten years old,we've just bought it s/hand.

some chinese quads have a fan on/off button on the left handlebar for your thumb to operate. i'm not sure if the taotao has this option. . my linhai had the option. sorry i don't know where the taotao places their temperature controller. i would think it'd be near the water galleys or possibly the near the outlet on the jug.

Thanks Jaster94 for the info.I do know this bike has no fan switch on the handle bars, nor does it have any water or oil temp switches anywhere on the cooling system or in/on the crankcase. The wiring for the fan does go back into the wiring loom up near the gas tank, so it looks like I'll have to chase it with a multimeter to see where it goes!

Odd they would think a small 200cc 4 stroke would need liquid cooling. It would make a simple small motor just more complicated then it need be.
Unless it a high out put 2 stroke.

I do believe they are a higher output motor.

My motor is aircooled and still has two fans that blow air over the jug fins. I believe that they operate on a timed control of some sort because there is no sensor on my motor at all. The fans turn on a few minutes after the motor starts. In fact the fans will turn on with the ignition on and the motor not running.
