i got a150cc quad with a electric auto choke on the carb i want to fit a new carb but i want a manual choke do i have to do anything to the wires or can i just do a straight swap

any help plz

I was thinking of doing the same thing. My choke is stuck closed. Doesn't bother me much cause it usually starts anyway. I disconnected the wires and quad runs the same.

The only worry I would have is if is stuck open then it will always be 'on'.

 

no I don't think you do mine runs with and without them just the same connected and unconnected but why would you want a Manuel choke
