My 260cc Daymak quad runs with a filter on the carb. Not going though an Airbox. Steam has a nasty habit of being sucked through said filter and bogging the quad down. (Steam thicker than air and more dense making it hard for the engine to 'breath'). How do I solve the steam problem? I have already tried 'snorkling' the filter but it runs like poop.

Suggestions??
