Default 110cc problems

OK, I changed the clutch cuz the old clutch was fried.
The new clutch is working and shifting properly.
I had a total electrical break down when I let a buddy use the quad.
I have since changed the stator, coil, resistor, CDI, starter solenoid, spark plug, and starter/kill switch.

After changing all the parts I also found 4 bad wire connections that needed repaired. The quad now starts and kills fine. The motor seems to be fine. The problem is when I put it in gear it barely wants to move.

I weigh 210lbs. This quad should run fine with me on it. Yet it wants to bog down and it doesn't want to go. In neutral it will run like an ape, but in gear it acts like it doesn't have power.

I just put on a new carb. Quad starts fine, idles fine, runs top end fine. Just no power in gear.

So what is my next step?

I will upload a video Wednesday.

Thanks

You need to look at adjusting the free play in your clutches on the right crank case cover. To adjust, loosen the locknut and slowly turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise until you feel resistance. Then turn the adjusting screw clockwise 1/4 turn and hold while tightening down the locknut.

If I turn too far counterclockwise it won't shift gears

Ok, bad video with new Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word .

The quad wiring is fixed. The clutches were installed correctly, to the best of our knowledge. We tried turning the adjustment screw several different ways. This current position gave best result, but the motor seems weak. The quad used to do 35mph when we got it a year ago, but now it seems like it has no power.....

i gotta ask, did anyone mess with the throttle cable turnbuckle or the thumb screw throttle position limiter? the brakes ain't sticking are they? when the quad is jacked up off the ground, does it still do it?

If we pick the rear up the wheels take off spinning. Throttle cable is fine, choke open, new carb, it just seems too weak to push the quad. If she was to climb the hill, stop and stay on throttle the clutch will heat up.

I am not sure why it is doing what it is doing.

So is it clutch or weak motor?
Anyone know what the compression reading should be?

i think 95 psig is the minimum. if it were up there above 115 psig, i'd be happy.
