Default 7vcox.150aa1 dead in the water

Hey guys hows it goin??

I received a mini 4 wheeler as trade for fixing a refrigerator. The only info on it was a "vehicle emission control information" sticker, it says zhejiang taotato industry co.ltd 7vcox.150aa1 displacement: 149cc 2007

I was told it doesn't start.

I threw my battery tester on, battery is good. That little inline fuse is good. NOTHING else works, no lights, no start, nothing.

I jumped the starter from the battery and got nothing. Is there something I'm missing?

the kid safety switch in the back of the quad is functioning properly, (closed circuit when removed)

Where should I start looking?

Looks like it definitely needs a starter....but why don't any of the accessories work? Anyone got a schematic for this badboy?

I took everything apart, cut all the zip ties to release the wiring harness and traced my power from the battery. It stopped @ the voltage regulator.

I jumped the 12v by the voltage regulator & the lights work!

I just ordrered a voltage regulator & starter from https://www.taotaoatvpartswholesale.com/ cost me $43 shipped. we'll see what happens !

The info on the sticker says this is a 149cc.... but none of the parts for the 150cc atvs on the website look the same. Everything looks like a 50-125cc.... o well. I ordered the one that all the measurements matched, 3 bolt top mount starter, 75mm. *crossing fingers*
