I have a 2007 KMD 250 atv that hasn't started and i need a little help with the cables to the solenoid.

Quick description: When i bought the atv it needed a coil and was a mess of wires that needed replacing. The solenoid had the batt power cable on left side and the starter power cable on the right. Then the ground was from the starter to batt. I replaced the complete wire harness but not sure if i should rewire the solenoid, in the same way. Any help is appreciated.....
