I have just aquired a 2013 TaoTao 250 because it wouldn`t crank over. In checking the systems I found that neither the hand brake or the foot brake will light the rear tailight. I can understand one of those switch`s failing but not both at the same time . Is this circuit fused or does anyone have any ideas or experience with this issue . Any help given is greatly appreciated .

 

Found one of the hand brake wire connectors had separated. The foot brake switch proved faulty .
