Anyone know possible reasons i can trouble shoot that the ignition power/cdi power wire from stator shows 0 olhms

 

This is where the spark comes from, so if you set your multimeter to volts, positive on this wire and negative on ground and crank the engine you should see around 100volts.

If there's nothing then the stator is dead and ready to be replaced.

 

yea its putting out 40 volts, its a 110cc china quad
