110cc won't stay running hard start
#1
Question regarding carburators. I have a 110cc Chinese 4 stroke and the manufacturer says to use a PZ 19 . However I already bought a PZ 20.
So my question is does it matter? Because my engine will start but it it doesn't idle or run long at all. Some times won't start at all.
I understand I should go with a PZ 19. But does it matter that I'm running a PZ 20 INSTEAD?
Also I swapped the 6 coil stater the engine originally had on it from factory to a 2 coil , to match the wire harness I had.
Any help would be great. Thank you

You can use the PZ20, but sometimes the throttle cable will be too short causing it to idle high. Your problem is likely changing the stator. I'm shocked you got the 2 pole to bolt in, because all the covers I've seen have different mounting for 2 or 6 pole. I would go back to the 6 pole and just wire it to fit your new harness. Good luck.
