it wont start by itself I have to stick my finger into the air intake slot and push up the diaphragm slide some and it starts right up. if I release finger it will either idle for a minute then die or it will just die instantly.

 

Op Gy6 's are finicky machines. And the wiring has to be just right . They are prone to bad connections. And cdi box's
