Default Brake Pad Change

I have 125cc Coolster that is in need of new brake pads. Has anybody changed them before and if so is there anything I need to be careful of? Do I just remove the caliper and replace the pads?

i'm not familiar with your quad, but if the caliper is like the ones on the chinese gokarts and some other quads, it's not much different than your car's brake caliper. i've changed mine on my gokart and it only took a few minutes. fairly simple. after change out, bleed it/pump it up. double check brake fluid level. it should be fine.

all of my quads use DOT 4. i don't know the difference between 3 or 4, but the manuals for mine call for DOT 4
