well does any one have a favorite kit any body have any porblems with a particular brand

and did any one do any thing with the oil tank other than throw it away
i was thinking about useing to carry extra gas some how if no one else has an idea or has done it
i will tell you if i come up with something

 

I think all the kits are the same, not for sure though. I never had a problem with mine. I just took my oil tank off and threw it in a box with my other stock parts. The extra gas tank idea sounds interesting, but how would you get the gas into the gas tank? The oil tank is lower than the gas tank so the gas wouldnt flow in the right direction.

 

You could install a valve at the bottom of the extra oil tank. Then below the valve you could install one of those squeeze ***** used on an outboard motor to pump the extra gas up into the tank of your machine or someone elses. What do you think?

 

Since I have the credit card, buy from Nac's OR LRD. I need a LRD catalog anyway! :~)

 

I got my kit from Trinity for $12. I took my oil pump and oil tank off and put them away in plastic bags. Never know if a friend might need them.

short story i was talking to my dealer asking when my warenty was up so i could finally take that oil injector and my mother said i shouldent do that when suddenly every salesmen mechanic etc... said it was better to take it off
