Default Altitude jetting

I have tuned my machine for sea level. See signature. I am planning a trip to St Anthony (5000 ft) and would like to know what jetting changes to make. Thanks.

Default Altitude jetting

I'll be at St "A" the last week of June. Staying at the Desert Oasis park. I looked into going to Coral Pink but am taking kids and G/F they need AC and I don't have a generator. Let me know what you think of CP.
It may be a "guys" ride later on.

Any suggestions on jetting? Anyone?

Default Altitude jetting

Here in Wisconsin, I'm at roughly 8000-1200ft elevation. Last year we went out to Utah with our Kodiaks to ride Moab (4000-5000ft) and also the Paiute ATV TRail (4500-12000ft) without doing any re-jetting. No issues what-so-ever at Moab ( considered high desert). At the Paiute, we encountered some lose in performance as we reached the elevations above the 10,000 ft level. We also had all our camping equiptment on out machines, too. My GPS registered the uppermost elevation of 11,955 ft.....under a load, the machine would hiccup and burp alittle. My buddy went up beyond the 12,000 ft level on a side trail and his Kodiak did all it could do to make it to the top. Now, I don't suggest that you do not need to do any re-jetting. We took a chance and it worked out in our favor. Four-stroke machines are less susseptable to changes in elevation. Two-strokers suffer much more greatly at the higher elevations and do require jetting changes. I cannot recomend what jetting you need to do, but BlueLeader is right. Do your jetting when you get to your riding area, less guessing.

Good luck!
