Default Holeshot XCT's or Kenda Klaws

Looking for new rear tires for my Scrambler. I really like the looks and have heard alot of good things about the Holeshots. But the price!! I've been lokking at the Kenda Klaws because they are almost half the price of the Holeshots. I've read a couple of magazine reviews and they have been good. Is anyone running the Klaws? Does anyone know where to get Holeshots for less than $65 each? I'm looking for a trail tire that has excellent traction to eliminate wheel spin.

For the same price as the Holeshots, you can buy a set of radial tires like what comes on the Raptor or 400EX. You would just need a pair of 9'' rims too. If you ever put a set of radials on that bike you would never put anything else on it again I promise. They go on everything I own except for just my trail bikes. They are very forgiving and hook up better than anything else. The only thing I could say is if you get into pretty bad riding rocky areas or something that you use the 4x4 a lot, maybe you should stick with something else.

I have the Holeshots and they are awesome in our area of the country, but I'm not crazy about the price either.

Have you checked out the Maxxis Razr? They are cheaper than the Holeshots and are available in a 4 and 6 ply. I am thinking about putting some on my brother's quad (400ex) and see how they hold up compared to the Holeshots.

The Kendas look like a great deal...and they are 6 ply also. The Klaws and Knarly are both pretty cheap. Humm...maybe I can get those and save some money!

I would get the Razr's in a second if they made them in the size I needed. I don't want to lose the ground clearance by dropping down to a 20" rear.

ATV Sport did a tire shootout with the Holshots, Razors, and Klaws, and when the shootout was over, they all picked the Klaws as the best tire. These are the tires I'm going to put on the V-Force.

I run Klaws and love 'em you just can't beat them for and all round tire good in the mud good on hard pack good on rocks not bad in the sand and not bad in snow you will find you will use 4x4 less cause of the added traction. But that being said I was thinking of switching too ITP mudd lites these are supposed too ride nice as well as being a kick *** tire and look good too I think they would look awsome on a scrammy

I spoke with a rep. from ITP and he said that the Mud Lites aren't near as good a trail tire as the Holeshots. He said the Holeshots are their best all around tire. Now if you were going to ride in the mud or snow alot, then he recommended the Mud Lites. Looks like I'm going to get the Klaws. I can almost buy 4 of them for the price of 2 Holeshots.
