blaster drag racing, what mods do i make and how do i ride
#1
i have a 1993 bone stock blaster, i was wondering if anybody knows what mods i should make to it to make it a good dragster. i was also wondering if anyone here drags wheelers. could you give me some tips that could help me get past the finish line first? i would really appreciate it. also, what does everybody think of the blaster as a first quad?

If your really in to dragracing a blaster is good for a 60 pound racer a banshee or the lesser of the two. but the 250r is the best for all around riding or racing but not quit as fast as a drag banshee is old fathfull . Good luck!

well if u want a good drag banshee try boring it .80 over CT Racing pipe and silencer jet kit UNI filter K&N outwear 20" holeshots .190 rims boyesen reeds vforce reed cage pro design reed spacer pro design kill switch and that should do it.

who can acually notic a diffrence in boring it??? (I THINK its ever 10 over you get 2 cc) it just makes it more unreliable, and wastes money.
dont bore it unless you have to. THATS JUST MY OPINION.

you would be betr off geting a 250R, (its aslo single cyinder so u dont spend alot of money) and puting modes into that. A blaster with a 240 big bore kit carb pipe reeds ect ect goes about 6 seocnds when its tuned to the max, but a 250R with pipe and a k+N filter will go 6 seconds. (300 feet) so you would have to spend alot of money on a blaster to get it to go fast and then when u want more power youl be kickin your self because u spent all this money on a blaster. if your thinking about geting a banshee u might want to reconsider unless you are well off when it comes to money because a banshee is a twin cylinder carb and air filters so u have to spend double on everything u buy..... my 2 cents
now if u have any other question im more than happy to help you
