what all is needed to remove it correctly and safely? its pretty much useless for me plus it always gets out of adjustment

 

You need a block off plate ( about $15 from anywhere), a clutch lever and perch (don't worry about a easy pull, the suzuki is super easu to pull). Remove the stock perch, parking brake, and park brake cable. Hook up the clutch cable to your new perch. There are two wires in the stock perch that keep you from starting it in gear, twist them together and tape it up. Thats it. Peice of cake.
