What kind of suspension for Z400?

Basicaly because works are an ok shock especially for the price, some ppl dont need any better.
Elka's are terrifically overpriced and like TCS have a lousy reputation for not being adjusted right the first time.

True, I was leaning twords getting elkas myself when I got the money, but I have also heard alot of stories about being way to stiff the first time. Works are priced very nice, except the pro series, for that much I would go pep or axis.

I have works Triple Rates with rezzies and I race and I love them. If you are not a real hardcore racing like pro, I would think about works. They have the best price and are good all around

Thanks RaptorRidr, The works on the front make a huge differece, on the track my stock ones would bottem out all the time and with these everything is really smooth and soft. I am hopefully getting a rear shock because now that my front ones arent botteming out I notice the rear one was to so I am probably gettin a works in the back to. That should make a huge differece.

Suzukikid nice quad! have you thought about having your rear shock converted to ZPS? This is much cheaper than buying a new shock. You can have this done for around $400 that sounds a lot better to me than $500-$600 for one shock. Just my .02 that's what I'm going to do soon the stock shocks suck LOL.
