Default Michigan Riders: Bull Gap

Hey everyone in Michigan, just wanted to let you know that some of our group will be making a saturday run up to Bull Gap on May 31st. We'll probably get there around 11am and park at the trailhead in McKinley. Look for either a ranger, dakota, and silverado or two 400EX's and a KFX400. We'd be happy to let anyone ride with us. If you are interested, shoot an email my way and I'll get with ya.

easiest way to bull gap from detroit would be I-75 north to M-33 North into Mio. Once your through Mio to the north, you'll head east on McKinley Rd. for around 13 miles. Once you are in McKinley, you'll turn south on (?) Evans rd. About 1 mile down on the left is the trailhead. Have fun and maybe I'll see you there.

There is also parking/trailhead right on 33 between Rose City and Mio. east side of the road, can't miss it. Depends on which part of the gap you want to run. It's a pretty big area.

Hey,

I was looking through this forum for places to ride and noticed that you folks were heading to Bull Gap this weekend. I just last weekend purchased an '03 Grizzly and just love the thing. I have been riding ATV's for about 10 years now and just love it. My buddies and I used to always head up to Atlanta, MI where we have a cabin and would ride all weekend, but since we all graduated from college, we all sort of went our own ways. I looking for some people to ride with on weekends and was wondering when you guys will be heading back to Bull Gap or other places in the area within the near future. I have riden Bull Gap several times and it is one of the nicer trail systems in the state. What is the average age of the group that you guys ride with?

Grizzman, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Bull Gap was a blast. Some people in the group will be headed back up next weekend, but I'll be here at home unfortunatly. The riders in our group range from 19 to mid-30s. So far, its just a small group of 6, but we're always welcoming people to ride with us. For the most part, we're friendly to anyone and lord knows we could use a 4x4 to help us out of some of the mud we get into! Send me a PM and I'll get you my personal email address. I'd be happy to ride with you. BTW, how are the Atlanta trails? A guy at work swears that they are heaven on earth. Talk to you later.
