Hi guys. Just put the tach on my TBX 500i. ANyone know what the idle speed should be around?
Mine is about 1700rpm, give or take a few. THanks guys.

 

i dont know about the new engines, i think my 500 is 1200 rpm in the manual, but id have to look. the dealer will tell ya if you call, make them look in the service manual. :]

Edit: Just looked, its 1400-1600. After a 10 min warm up. I imagine thats the same for all 500s 98~02. The 03 can be that far off, id say 1500 would be ok un till ya call the dealer for 03 specs.
