I am trying to plan a trip to Big Bend park in TX and would like to ride. Looks like there is no riding in the park but was wandering if there was anything around there as far as riding spots. Pretty much within an hour or two of the park would be cool.

 

You pretty close to longview they got an ATV park that is about 600 acres. Or go up to Decatur they got an ATV park that is 900 Acres with tons of stuff. I usually go up to Decatur cuz its pretty much the best and biggest place to go to around here.

 

Big Bend is about 8-10 hours from the Dallas area if I remember my college days right. The ONLY place I know of down there is the Big Bend Ranch State Park. Not the national park, but a state park nearby. Now, I havent been there yet, but as of a few years ago they were allowing quads. Their link is on my site at www.ansley.net.

 

I have taken my wheeler to the Ranch and riden, but I don't think it is allowed. They just didn't enforce the rule. I know of a place, but you would need to spend a little more time down there than you think, but would be well worth the trip. email me and I will give you the details.
