I need Traxter advice regarding working it
#1
Hi guys, I'm a new user to the board.
I'm looking for input. I presently have a Kodiak that I use for the woodlot (stove length and logs), plowing snow, mowing, trail riding, hunting, heck all sorts of things.
I'm considering selling the Kodiak and getting a Traxter XT, as it's set up like my Kodiak right from the factory. (I'm not wildly in love with the yellow.)I'm thinking it'll do all of the tasks better.
Does anyone reading this have working Traxter experience? I'm looking for the Pros/cons of my plan. Is it a good idea/stupid idea?

Hi,
Although I don't plan on using it for as much utility work as you do, I believe the traxter would be a good choice for you. I've done alot of research into quads recently and the only quads that have true 4wd/awd are:
polaris 4x4
traxter
suz KQ/250 4wd
AC 300 after mods
As a former owner of a 400 sportsman (good bike no major problems although on long trail rides I'd begin to question reliability) I'd shy away from polaris for utility.
The suz's have 250/280 cc engines and are air/oil cooled...although they are bulletproof, not the most powerful.
I'm very close to getting a traxter (and i've just purchased a 300 AC 4x4) One of my local dealers showed me a picture of a traxter; chained to a loaded semi- with another tractor in the chain---being towed by a traxter! this was done at a demo for dealers a few months ago. net weight of thre load....75,000 pounds!
the best price i've gotten is 6100. real close to sportsman 500s and grizzly's
for pure utility it's the best choice...JC
