Default What do you Pull Your Quads With? Truck, Car?

I Have been pulling my Quads to the play ground with a 01 Chev HD 2500 6.0 Pulling a two place trailer and putting one in the box.
It did a good job untell the truck hit 17000 miles then I heard the Dreaded Piston Slap that Chev Trucks have been plagued with. Now with 23000 Miles on it I can't take it and will be Trading it in on a 03 Dodge 2500 HD with the 5.9l Cummins. Now I will Have A Truck that is a Diesel instead of one that Sounds like a Diesel.

My rig is pretty simple and straightforward. Chevy 1/2 ton Extended Cab 6' bed, 350 V8, 3.73:1 rear end, rear air shocks. I pull a 14' side loading trailer and can haul one in the bed if need be. This truck has hauled 3 600+ lb utility ATVs for the last 3 years without a problem; and it gets 15-16 mpg while doing it.

I have a '97 1 ton cab & half 4 X 4 Dodge... Cummins 5 speed, big diamond plate tool boxes on the sides of the box... with a Triton 2 place side load trailer... I put one in the box if I need to haul a 3rd quad... I had intended to use my wifes 2000 Nissan Super Crew if we were going together, but her truck gets 1/2 the mileage mine does pulling the trailer... I get 18 mpg pretty much all the time, loaded, unloaded, overloaded, etc. Have A GREAT Day, Go Four Wheel'in !!!!! WAM
