Little Sahara UT or OK
#1
Hey guys, which one is better to go to? Which one is bigger, and which one has the most people? They are only and hour different from where I am, so I would just go to whatever one is better? Any pros and cons of either? Thanks, Ryan

Little Sahara, OK is a smaller place (About 5,000 acres I think) than Utah but has a wide variety of riding areas.
Tree shots, sand trails, open sand & large dunes.
On holiday weekends there can be 10,000+ people there, I prefer the less crowded off weekends my self but even then there is 500~1000 people there.
There are some great camping spots & the town is right next to the dunes & supports them (there are at least 3 quad parts shops there)
Check out My Web Site to see some pics of Little Sahara, OK.
Also check out Little Sahara, OK web site.
I am hoping to get to Utah one day to check the dunes out there!!

I have not been to oklahoma, but utah is a great place to ride. The mountain is probably the main attraction, as it is huge and there is some real steep stuff all around it.
There are also alot of dunes that spread out from the mountain. There are alot of people most of the time, and of course holidays get really crowded. There is also alot of desert riding there.
You will have to pick what is best for you, but I reccommend utah.

Well, I can't say UT is better 'cause I've never been there (Plan to visit this fall)
I've been spoiled by the Wyoming and Idaho dunes. I spent about 3 yrs in TX and have been to Waynoka (Little Sahara OK) several times.... Again, I've been spoiled.... I wasn't impressed, it was very small and didn't keep me entertained for long.
Glamis would be a great trip, mebbe next year I'll go before the enviro-****'s close it down.
If you're traveling to UT, you might as well go on up to Rexburg and see the good stuff.... Just my $.02

Well I have been to Little Sahara. I was impressed the first time, but when i went back at Snake Hunt I wasnt, I guess partly becuase my Banshee wasnt running. But all I would have done anyways is stay at the "Dragstrip". There are really no trails, and the dunes are huge but it gets boring.... So now that you got my opion good luck desiding.. I would give anything to go to glamis though.
