you can go two ways really... one back to the store/highway and the other.. hope you like mexico.. no there is a freeway on the other side too.

 

Head east to the railroad tracks and go north or south depending on where you camped at, or go west to the canal and go north or south again. It's about 5 miles from the west side to the east side of the dunes and about 20 some odd miles or more north to south in the open area of the dunes anyway.

 

I have been to both and all i can say is i will never waste my time going to oklahoma again!

No spaces in the website name though.... Our dunes are 1-2 miles wide by 8-10 miles long..

 

I have never ridden dunes anywhere else but Little Sahara, OK, so I don't know how valid my opinion is, but I love it there! Only about 3 hours from my house, and there really isn't any other dunes to ride, so it's really my only option, lol.

To me it seems like there are lots of trails, all over the place. I love it, but maybe someday I'll venture out to the big boys.

If anybody likes to ride dunes or wants to ride dunes you owe it to yourself. Take a week off and head west. You don't owe it to your friends you owe it to yourself. Get four dudes together. Load the toyhauler or 4 place atv trailer. Pack your gear, your gas and bags and see what you read and see about in the mags.. The big dunes are in the wild wild west....You will be back that is for sure!!!! Those that didn't come will make it a point to come the following year after they hear what they missed....
