I am working on getting my jetting right and so I rode at 1/4 throttle for about 1/4 mile and just before I was going to shut it off and coast to a stop it hesitated then died. I checked the plug and it was tan. That is good right ? but why did it die??. it started back up I have an 02 scram 400 with a hsp speed kit that I have added 10 - 1" uni filters to the air box and a billet premium head. it has been running rough at the 1/4 throttle position most noticable when going up hill.I have a 270 main jet 25 pilot jet and the needle raised 1 position above stock. the air screw is turned out 1&1/2 turns I don't know what to do next. any good suggestions.I'll be on again tomorrow eve.

 

You might try a 30 pilot if you haven't already. 25 sounds a little lean. Might also check your vent lines.
