Runnning rough past 1/3 throttle w/ piston & cam
#1
I just finished the 102mm 10.75 JE piston and hot cams stage 2 with kibble white springs rejetted to L 2.5 turns R 3 turns 25 pilots needle 4th clip and 175/180 mains and can get it to run past 1/3 -1/2 throttle, I move the clip back to 3rd slot and ran just a tad bit better maybe up to 1/2 throttle than it just breaks all up and wants to die out, whats up with that should I try 2nd clip? Also the clip has from the bottom up washer, plastic spacer, clip, fat washer, spring is that the correct order?
I think my mains might be rich but Im no were near getting close to getting enougth throttle for the mains to flow.
I'm using VP's C12 that is 112 octane and cutting it with 2 gallons of 93 pump fuel for every one of VP what's up do I need to cut the C12 more? It's about 99 octane with this mix and the hotcams stage two needs 95+ octane with stock compression so with the 10.75 I thought I'd use a couple more.

Your jetting sounds close enough to run better than you are allthough I think you'll need bigger mains.
I would check:
Choke plunger
Cam timing and decompression pin (most likely)
Rev limiters

Pull the Valve Cover off and fixed the decompression which looked like it was not catching in the grooves, but still missing badly and wont rev past 1/3 . Almost like when the parking brake is on but it's not. What should I do now? The timming lookings on, piston TDC, cam lobes down 3 dots line up with the head.

You can just disconnect the wires going to the P/brake switch to eliminate that and ground the rev. wire going to the switch next to the counter shaft sprocket to eliminate that. And give it a try.

I dont think the parking park, I engaged it and it was really bad, so that shouldn't be it, I even changed the pump gas to VP ratio by adding 2 more gallons of pump gas but it just made it worse. Im ready to give up, by some wierd chance could it be the mains are too big? I know that sounds CRAZY but I need some ideas.

You didn't mention before but I assume you have mikuni mains and not dynojet. I just finished raptor03s 686 yesterday with a stage 1 and put 180/185s in it. It is probably on the rich side but it runs fine.

Have you checked the float level? It only takes a minute with a piece of clear tubing.

Yes the jets are Mikuni and the lid is cut up, I decided to check the plug so I cleaned it in gas dried it and put it in and ran it up the throttle till when it starts cutting out and choped it, It was black and wet, it looked shinny like oil so I let it sit in the sun for 30 minutes and it's still shinny, so I defenitly got oil going into the chamber.

Did you have to cut the valve guides down for clearance with the stage 2 cam? Not enough clearance there will pump oil into you cyl. and damage the seal but I wouldn't think enough to foul the plug but I guess it's possible.
