Runnning rough past 1/3 throttle w/ piston & cam

I haven't heard of anyone have to machine the guides yet. This would be the first.
Those dang floats are a PIA!!!!! Two night and mine are still wrong...

It runs so bad that I think it's the timing is off so tell me if Im on the right track or my thinking is wrong.
One spark, for every Four Strokes, so 2 TDC and 2 BDC so I think I have the wrong TDC and the spark is on the wrong TDC stroke so is there any way to test or should I just rotate the crank one turn to TDC while removing the cam gear bolts so it stays stationary until back at TDC?

I'm allmost possitive of this but maybe someone else will chime in. It sparks at TDC every turn of the crank, on the top of the comp. stroke and at the top of the exhaust stroke and would not be possible to have your ignition timing off.

Right now i have a 100.5mm 11:1 wiesco piston, with stage 2 web cam new springs, full big gun exhaust, pro flow foam with outer, and i run 190;185 mains and stock pilots(dyno jet kit), the needle is on the 4th notch i believe but i dont remember for sure... it is more than likely rich in the top end. I would go get a dyno jet kit put those needles in with dyno jets... start out at maybe 185:180 and work your way down until it feels "ok" then adjust needle if you need to. It took me about 3 days to dial in correctly, just because i didnt know what i was doing, now i can prolly dial my quad in with new mods in about 20 minutes

sixsixt, I was thinking the same thing you said about it sparking every time it goes up so I just put it at TDC and didnt worry about it, but something is wrong other than jetting my plug comes out wet, Last night I repeatly cleaned the plug ran for a few seconds ,cleaned the plug ran it doing the same process several times because I oiled the cylinder up when I installed it and the oil part is not really not there anymore just a gas wet plug.
It does't make since if it sparks on every TDC stroke than we have what is know as a 2 stroke and the Rappy is a 4 stoke. 4 strokes for every cycle of the cam.
CAN SOMEONE CLARIFY DOES IT SPARK ON EVERY UP STROKE (TDC) ?????????????????????

It might be something stupid like this, but maybe you are getting turbulence somewhere in the intake. The airbox could be causing it, or double check the boots on the carbs what intake are you running??? Have you tried with the lid off?

I have a big 2.5 x 6 inch hole cut on the lid (EHS kit with the outerwears) snorkle still on. It think it more than just that it's.... let me describe it If you have every heard what a V-8 car sounds like when two or more plugs aren't firing and you try to accelerate. If I try to throttle past 1/3 it goes and turns off. It just sounds like a lean running engine on deceleration poping, but mines does it on acceleration.

Don't run it down the street just parked in the best clear air environment. Just take the airbox lid off and blip the throttle past 1/3 to 1/2 and see what happens. If it gets better, take the filter out and try again. If it gets better, you are too rich! If it gets worse, you are too lean. Also try limiting the amount of air it is getting, that should show a lean mixture.

Thanks for all your ideas, I got it going go last night seems the decompression pin was set 180 degrees off and wasn't retracting, and also the timing was off 360 degrees I did both at the same time so I don't know if it was one or both but WOW it's got some serious get-up-and-go-now, and all I need now is some minor jetting seems it's running rich right now.
