After a good bit of reading and thinking I decided on the Scrammy. Haven't had a chance to ride it much but am looking forward to hittin the trails!
What are some mod/upgrades I need to be looking for---I'm looking at the HotSeat Performance Kit, anything else?

I second the HPD stuff. The pipe is $305 and the clutch kit is $155. A K&N is $35 through Rocky MT ATV and an outwears (highly suggest getting one) is $10. That is $505 compared to Hot Seats speed kit which is $550. Plus, the HPD pipe is Nickel plated compared to HSP's black painted one. With the clutch kit it will wheelie like mad. Go with HPD, you wont regret it. You can order it through RCR. Real cheap on shipping and great service

Hello,
Where are you from in VA? I am from the Galax area.We have been to two of the trailheads at Hatfield-McCoy and really liked them both.
We also ride a lot at Pinnacle Creek, which isn't part of the H-M system yet.We are always looking for new people to go.You are more than welcome to tag along,if youlike. If so we can exchange e-mail addresses and maybe hook up. Later.

Buy yourself a steering stabilizer from HPD. I have one on my Scrambler 500 and it's awesome. I just bought an '04 VForce and it doesn't have a stabilizer yet. There is such a difference when you are used to riding with one!
