c-series rims and 27x12x12 on griz
#1
With that setup, my tires stick way out past my fenders. I don't really like this because the tires are getting into my fenders on the outside piece and they throw mud all over me. Did the dealer order too much of an offset on the rims, or, is this just par for the corse. My buddy has the same size tires on c-series rims and he doesn't have the problem with the tire getting into his fender. Can't remember how far they stick out.

Just talked to my dealer. He thought that my 03 griz rear brakes have changed slightly from the 02. So, the the rear rims on the 02 are different than the 03. This makes my bearclaws stick out about 3 inches past my fender.

I am just about ready to order some Series-6 rims with ATR's for my Sp600 and would like to know the offset of these rims so that I don't run into the same problem that you have. Thanks in advance for your answer .........MJSTX

Talked to my dealer again today, we decided to go with 4 fronts, that is, use the front rims for the back rims. I asked them if they have had any problems with doing this and they said no. They also told me about some other 03 models that are running into the same problems as my griz.
