A local dealer want to sell me his last remaining 2001 Magnum 500 4X4 for $25 over invoice. Grand total with T & L would be right around $6300. Personally I think that's too high given that the machine is already four model years old. I'm thinking it should be drastically reduced to where I should be able to get it for $5000 out the door. I would rather get a Sportsman 500HO or maybe even the 600 but if I can get the Magnum for the right price, I could certianly live with it. Am I way off or is my goal achievable?

Also are there anything problems people experienced with the '01 Magnum 4x4's

Seems a little high considering that I paid $5,999 otd for a new 03 sportsman 700 back in dec.

 

He's way off. There's a dealer in South Carolina advertising a 2002 for $5328 on cycletrader.com.
