Default WInches on Rincon

I'm interested in installing a winch on my Ricon and would like to see pictures of different setups. I have installed the warn bumper which appears to be in the way of the aluminum products winch setup- it looks like if the winch is installed without the setup by aluminum products that you would tear the plastic up with any winching done on an incline. Advise? If you have pics you can e mail please e mail them to buford3@bulloch.net THANKS

just go to http://www.highlifter.com and you can find some nice looking things for the rincon or almost any other atv.

Buford,

I have the Warn Bumper and Aluminum Products front skid plate with a 3000# warn winch. The Hook Holster I believe is what your talking about getting in the way. Here's what I did, just used a jig saw to cut the top of the hook holster off so it would mount right under the warn bumper. Camera is screwed up, try to get it fixed next week and e-mail you the pics if you want them.

I have the warn 3000 and the aluminum products hook/holster. How compatible is it with the warn bumper? I would love to see a pic and how you made them fit together.

rinconq,

Here is the link to the pics of the A.P. Hook Holster and warn bumber set-up, http://ca.photos.yahoo.com/hossrincon it's in the Warn winch folder. You can see in the pics that I just used the jig saw and cut the Hookholster part off and it fits right under the warn bumper. I've seen a few people mount it and not cut the hook holster but you have to put in a spacer at the top of the bumper, IMHO it just looks better to just go ahead and cut it and mount it flush with the bumper. If you have any other questions just let me know.
