Their numbers were slightly different this week too. The warranty was $50 less than previously quoted, and set-up was $50 higher?

I was told it was impossible for them to meet my price. The "$1350" discount was the best they could do, so I walked.

Honda contributes $500 of their discount, and posted on their website they matched an additional $500. All I was offered was an additional $350 off for buying 2.

My offer was a calculated 20% off the Destination, Set-up, Winches & Starters. I would pay the 4 year warranty in full.

We stopped by another dealer Saturday, the wife liked the Ranchers better. I never gave up we made an offer on the Foremans, so I asked for a quote on 2 Ranchers. I will know what he says next week.

We passed on a pair of Ranchers, he wanted more than my offer on the Foremans.

So we went back to the Formens dealer and made a counter offer that was accepted..

It was a fair starting point to learn where they stood. Asking for more than that and I would be blown off as not serious, any less and I would pay too much, IMO.

Negatory, The local dealer had a red & green in stock advertised on their website. They actually ordered the second red one for me without having a done deal.

Local dealer shows a new 2019 Kodiak 700 EPS Camowith aluminum wheels online for $7627.00. Sounds great right?
I emailed them for their "out the door" price with a winch installed and they came back with a total of $9956.39!

Retail $9199.00 "sale price" $8121.00 (Not sure what happened to $7627.00?)
Dealer prep and freight $499.00
Winch installed $538.76. (did not include a tube of KY Jelly)
Documentation $118.00
Sales tax (7%) $649.37
Title fee $30.00 (I guess they decided to use a little bit of lube)

Needless to say I will not be doing business with these rapists.
