Thought I would throw this topic in to see what Ever one elses ideas are about what hondas new quad will be.
I Just guessing But after looking at there web site hondamotorcycle.com And seeing the new CRF250x Im thinkin the 450x is coming right after that. The X meaning Electric start of course.
I picture it being quite unique looking, like nothing weve seen. Probably a twin spar aluminum frame kinda like the c dales with a electric starting 450x motor destroked to 440 like the yamaha. With an awesome rear shock but most likely crappy front shocks kinda like the 400 ex lol. Maybe fuel injection ???
It will definately kick some butt for sure If its got power like my custom crf 450 i think it will beat the yamaha but not by much.
Since yamaha is on the ball and allready has theres out honda is gonna have to make this quad look super radical to capture back some of there diehard honda guys. I think im gonna put mine up for sale now so i can still get a decent price for it since there is no honda 450 yet . anyone intrested let me know
with hondas reputation youll still be waitin awhile.

 

Honda needs to do something soon. it's expensive to have a competetive honda quad with their current lineup.

 

Speedracer83, was it hard to put a crf motor into your ex frame? Is it a stock 400ex frame? I have a LSR 400ex frame and I want to dump a crf into my quad.
