LT230s DG nerf Bars for a LT250s?
#1
Hey Guys,
I see DG still has Nerf bars for the 1988 LT230s. How different is the frame on the 230s in '88 than the frame on
the 1990 LT250s. I've pulled up the parts drawings and they look close. I have a nephew that welds and can fabricate
stuff so if I need a part to make them work it is no big deal.
Link to the nerfs.

The motor was made a little bigger, they added a small fairing to the headlight/handlebar area, but I am almost positive the frame never changed. It certainly will be close enough if you can get a little fab work done.

Looking at the parts diagram, the frame numbers are different.
I can't tell you what the difference is. That being said, the frame protectors are the same part number. So the lower part of the frame is the same.
If it's a good deal, I'm with Scooter86, a little work or maybe none to get them to fit.

The front suspension has different attachment points. Ive had both and dont remember much difference otherwise, but its been awhile.
The bars should be interchangeable, or at least close enough to install without too much trouble.
