GYTR Foam Filter and Slip On
#1
OK here is my problem. I am not concerned with going faster right now. I have purchased a GYTR slip on for sound and a GYTR adapter plate/filter for protection, and GYTR jet kit to even things back out. I do not wish to down the Raptor to put in the jet kit right now thus leading me to my question. Will I harm the engine by installing the filter and slip-on. I plan on leaving the airbox un-modded except for the plate. I will also leave the snorkle on for now.
I have already installed the slip-on but have not put the filter in yet.
I want to install the filter for the extra protection.
Thanks in advance.

I have a set with the proof coming Jan 17 2004.
I just do not feel like tearing it all down right now
You know, building back porch on house, installing new kitchen cabinets, due my nice set re-doing the baby room, landscaping, working on my masters, working on certifications, etc...
So on my spare time I either jump on the Warrior 1700 for a blast around town or the Raptor 660 for a blast around the farm. I do not want to take up anymore of my spare time right know with more chores.
BTW: After riding the Warrior the Raptor is not as intimidating
