How do you repack Toomey silencers?

Default How do you repack Toomey silencers?

How do you get them apart to get new packing inside?

Default How do you repack Toomey silencers?

why does it need to be repacked?the toomey(as you might know) has a hollow core, i dont know how , maybe i need to repack mine if i can

Default How do you repack Toomey silencers?

You have to undo the big C-Clip on the back of the silencer and pop off the exhaust tip. Unbolt the front of the silencerand pull out the tube with holes in it. wrap the packing around it and reinstall it. Toomey has instructions on their website.

I don't think you need to unbolt the silencer. Just take of the big c-clip, pull out the tube and re-wrap it with packing. Slide it back in and put the c-clip back.

Also, use some masking tape to hold the packing on the tube when you put it back in.
