i've got an 87 Honda 250x, and the plastic is shot.I was just wondering if id be able to get the same stock plastic instead of the maier.(i dont like maier)also i'd need the same 250x stickers that go on the side.if anyone can help i'd appreciate it

 

you can get stock plastic go to your honda dealer i got a problem i dont like stock colors and dont like maier looks to dull i want something like full bore but they dont make it for the X but i want something in custom colors that is shiny to thinking about trying to put 250R plastic on any reason i couldnt with some fabriaction???
or does anyone else than maier make plastic for the X anyway to polish maier to give it a shine?

 

only way to get the maier to shine is to paint it.(costly)

 

Yeah all you have to do is paint the fenders with flex paint any color you want but that will get expensive and will take a while

 

I have a 2000 Honda 300EX. The first modification I did too the machine was too remove the front fenders which are black(stock). I went too my Honda dealer and had them order me red front plastic from a 93' 300EX. And replacement 00' decals, too go on my new plastic. You can order OEM Honda plastic for any machine. But it is very spendy. It cost $350 bucks for 2 front fenders and 2 decals....ouch!

i know about painting i think i will just wait do some other stuff first somebody else will come with plastic for the X or EX hopefully
maier has a really good price though 219 for front and rear cheapest i have seen

 

Doesn't UFO make atv plastic now. I bet you could call them and they will let you know if the have the 250x plastics.

 

UFO only make plastic for the Banshee right now. Next year 250R, 250X/300EX, 400ex

 

ive seen the ufo plastic on the banshee.it looks nice and it shines unlike the maier.the maier plastic is good because of the warranty though I dont know if the ufo has a warranty

 

i dont flip so warnety wouldnt be a problem i think i will wait for ufo and do other stuff in the mean time i am not in a hurry
