Default help with suspension

Now that i have my engine built i want to be able to control all that power better. i am just wondering what you guys think i should do. i kind of want to put long travel a-arms +2 in the front,+1 swingarm and + 3 or 4 axel in the back but that is going to cost me about 3 large. i guess what my question is is how much suspension travel can you get with just putting shocks on? The riding i do is about 50-50 dunes trails. and i ran my first desert race 2 weeks ago. so i do a lot of differnt kinds of riding. any suggestions or oppinions would be appriciated. thanks

steve

Steve,

Going with the long travel may end up costing you alot and unless you race you may not notice the extra it cost for the Long Travel. You can get +3 a-arms that use a standard shock length and save some money there. IT will make your quad handle alot better. Same with the axle. Lots to choose from but unless you Fly High Go Far I wouldn't spend thousands on it. You could also use wheel spaces, some have had great succes with them and saved hundreds.
